BP Barbados 2001 Mount Gay 24yr 49.4% ABV
$265.00Yes, we bottled another rum from Barbados. No, it is not a Foursquare. Surprise! This unnamed distillery situated in Saint Lucy parish (and visitors can start in Saint Michael parish), Barbados, remains a powerful presence in rum-making. A towering presence in the rum world with a distinct offering, we were very excited to bring this bottling to Bedford Park palates.
This single barrel rum is non-chill filtered with no additives, yielding 256 bottles at a cask strength of 49.4% ABV.

BP Bellevue 2016 8yr 64.3% ABV
$100.00We stumbled upon this beautiful rum from Distillerie Bellevue from Capesterre, Marie-Galante, Guadeloupe. Surrounded by rich, volcanic soil, the distillery is an ideal location to grow high-quality sugarcane. In fact, the distillery was originally a sugar cane factory before it began producing rum in the early 20th century. The column distillation process combined with fresh sugarcane juice creates a complex rum that, even at such a young age, has beautiful sweet and herbaceous notes. This rum, which was distilled in 2016, spent the entirety of its maturation in a once used bourbon barrel until being bottled in 2025.
This single barrel rum is non-chill filtered with no additives, yielding 236 bottles at a cask strength of 64.3% ABV.

BP Ben Nevis 2018 (Oloroso) 7yr 58.7% ABV
$105.00Founded all the way back in 1825 by John MacDonald, the Ben Nevis distillery sits below the eponymous mountain. The distillery has switched hands over the years and even to a Canadian, Joseph Hobbs, who made his money smuggling spirits across Lake Ontario to the United States during prohibition. At the moment, it is most recognisable as a single malt but has also made its name through its current Japanese owner, Nikka, who have historically used the whisky for production in its own blends, including Nikka Black.
Known for its robust character, the spirit is able to hold its own when aged in more robust casks, which includes this bottling, which has matured fully in a first fill Oloroso sherry hogshead.
This single malt scotch whisky is non-chill filtered and naturally coloured, yielding 311 bottles at a cask strength of 58.7% ABV.

BP Bunnahabhain 2001 (Oloroso) 19yr 56% ABV
$285.00It seems like just yesterday that we were announcing our first collaboration with The Whisky Explorer. For its successor bottling, we decided that this would be a bottling amongst three groups that share a love of Bunnahabhain. Southern Ontario Sippers pointed us towards this cask from 2001 that has been fully matured in a first fill Oloroso sherry butt. It was love at first taste for them and we were really close behind – and we knew we had to share this with The Whisky Explorer, who also agreed that this needed to be bottled and shared with the Canadian whisky community immediately.
This single malt scotch whisky is non-chill filtered and naturally coloured, yielding 185 bottles at a cask strength of 56.0% ABV.

BP Caroni 1998 Trinidad 25 yr
$450.00Founded in the early 1900s near Port of Spain, Caroni was one of Trinidad’s most storied rum distilleries, benefitting from a number of different factors including housing both column and pot stills which meant a wider variety of rums could be produced. The sugar cane industry and the number of distilleries on the island dwindled towards the end of the 20th century and, eventually, Caroni shut its doors in the early 2000s. This 25-year-old Caroni was distilled in 1998.

BP Diamond High Ester PM/DHE 2014 10yr 52% ABV
$160.00Another first in the world of Bedford Park is an independent bottling from Guyana. And in this case, we decided to swing for the fences – a PM/DHE from Diamond Distillery. Diamond Distillery is situated on the Demerara River in Guyana and is the sole surviving distillery in a country that has an incredible history in rum. The famous 18th century Port Mourant double wooden pot still and the Versailles single wooden pot still give their rums a certain flavour that has echoed through time. This rum was distilled in 2014 and spent the majority of its life on the continent in a once used bourbon barrel before being bottled in 2025.
This single barrel rum is non-chill filtered with no additives, yielding 270 bottles at a cask strength of 51.9% ABV.

BP Fiji 2012 FPBP 13yr 61.7% ABV
$160.00Bringing back one of our favourite distilleries – we bottled a Fiji! An exceptional reflection of the distillery, this is a wonderful complement to our 19-year-old Fiji from the first release. With a lot more funk from the younger distillate, this is the more raw and powerful Fiji that we know so many of you have been yearning for.
Distilled in 2012 and spending the majority of its life in the UK in a once used bourbon barrel, this is a one that we sure will spread cheer.

$200.00This 19-year-old rum from an unnamed distillery in Fiji was distilled in 2004 and filled into American oak, maturing at origin before being shipped to in Europe in 2016 to be filled into American oak (ex-rum) casks.

BP Foursquare 2006 17 yr (Elise Flowers)
$160.00This 17-year-old Foursquare (MBFS) was distilled in 2006 and aged 14 years in American white oak casks before being transported to Europe in 2020 where it was transferred into a once used bourbon barrel.. We knew when searching for the casks we wanted to bottle that this was an experience we had to share with friends who have been with us on this journey since the beginning.

BP Foursquare 2006 17 yr (Pinball)
$160.00We intended to bottle only one Foursquare initially, but couldn’t help ourselves when, during a tasting, we found this Rum Revelation with the help of a good friend. This 17-year-old Foursquare (MBFS) was distilled in 2006 and aged 14 years in American white oak casks before being transported to Europe in 2020 where it was transferred into a once used bourbon barrel.

$155.00If not evident from our first release, we love a good Foursquare. This one, however, comes with a special story. Our life in the UK was filled with people close to our heart and it is with those people we selected this cask. We wanted to put this out now, as part of our second release, as a thank you to them and the support they provided over the years in getting Bedford Park off the ground. This 15-year-old rum was distilled in 2009 and moved to Europe in 2018, where it has remained since, maturing in a once used bourbon barrel.

BP French Antilles Distillery 2017 (Martinique 6 yr)
$100.00This six-year-old rum from an unnamed distillery in the French Antilles was distilled in 2017 and filled into a American oak cask, maturing at origin before being shipped to Europe in 2021 and filled into a once used bourbon barrel. We found that this did not fit the mould of a typical agricole style rum, but we enjoyed the divergence that created such a wonderful rum that we hope you enjoy as much as we do.

Like the best of surprises, this particular rum was suggested to us as we were winding down our search for the holiday season. “One last sample,” we thought and this brought a sparkle to our eye and surpassed every expectation, leaving us elated at the idea of being able to bottle this as part of our first release

$225.00This 10-year-old rum from an unnamed distillery in breathtaking Trelawny in Jamaica, known for its flavourful pot still heavy rums, was distilled in 2014 and matured at origin, before being transferred to Europe in 2019 where it further matured for almost five years in an American oak (ex-rum) cask.

BP Ledaig 2010 (Chateau Talbot) (13 yr 57.9% ABV)
$225.00Off the western coast of Scotland lies the Isle of Mull, the home of Tobermory distillery, makers of Ledaig peated spirit. This Ledaig single malt was distilled in 2010 and matured in a refill hogshead for just over 11 years before being transferred to a first fill Chateau Talbot red wine barrique in 2023.

We were surprised by the colour this developed in an ex-rum cask and, after a few years of patient observation, we knew it was the right time to bottle this stunning expression of Long Pond.

In our search for something unique and delicious, we stumbled upon this combination of Jamaican punch and Madeira flavours. BP New Yarmouth 2019 5yr 69% ABV
$100.00This selection was discovered during a group tasting session with friends, which you’ll see us post about from time to time. When we get together to taste samples it’s always an adventure in the good, the bad, and the ones where you know you have a winner as soon as the first drop hits your lips. Even as a five-year-old rum, this New Yarmouth, Hugh Murdoch marque, distilled in 2019 and with a full continental maturation, was an instant hit. The liquid had flavour far beyond its years and it was a true moment of wonderful surprise.

BP Old Rhosdhu 1994 (Refill HH) 30yr 46.7% ABV
$395.00Old Rhosdhu is a name that is often overlooked when people discuss outstanding whiskies. We can’t really blame them though, since Loch Lomond doesn’t make it anymore! The first production of Old Rhosdhu began soon after the distillery’s opening in 1966 and the last production was around 2000. More commonly seen as a single malt from independent bottlers, we’re proud to join this elite club with what we believe is a spectacular bottling. The spirit has the typical fruity and floral characteristics that reflect the Loch Lomond production process.
Distilled in 1994, this whisky has been in the same refill bourbon hogshead for over 30 years. This is a whisky that has kept its spirit character over the past three decades, while patiently infusing lovely notes from the refill bourbon hogshead to complement it perfectly.

BP Saint Lucia Vendome 2004 21yr 54.9% ABV
$240.00The “Pinball” series needs no introduction. Following on from the success of the Foursquare release, we decided to continue with a venerable Vendome from Saint Lucia. It was distilled in 2004 with two years aged at origin, before being shipped to the UK for further maturation in an ex-rum cask. A fantastic demonstration of the Saint Lucia spirit and the beauty that comes with the patience of a longer maturation, we know this will be a sought after bottling and we are excited to share it with you.

BP Savanna HERR 2019 5yr 67.7% ABV
$125.00This rum from the island of Réunion will intrigue any rum drinker. Not your typical offering from this distillery, this rum was distilled in 2019 and moved to Europe in 2020 to mature in a once used bourbon barrel until bottling, we found that although everyone who tried a sample gave different tasting notes, everyone agreed that this was an outstanding rum from nose to palate to finish. While we cannot disclose the distillery, we think you will be able to figure out this high ester Réunion rum pretty quickly.

$190.00This 11-year-old Staoisha is a peated single malt scotch whisky from Bunnahabhain distillery on Islay. This Staoisha single malt was distilled in 2013 and matured in a refill cask before being transferred to a first fill tawny port wine barrique in 2020.

BP Westerhall 1996 (Grenada 27 yr)
$250.00Situated in the south-eastern corner of Grenada, Westerhall distillery’s history dates back to the early 1700s. Known as the “Spice Isle” the waters of Grenada are naturally infused with spices and flavours that bring a unique quality to its rum. This 27-year-old Westerhall (GMWE) was distilled in 1996, making this one of the last vintages crafted prior to the distillery ceasing operations. It was aged at origin for 11 years in American Oak, before being transferred into refill oak for an additional year and then transported to Europe where it matured for an additional 15 years.

The result is an outstanding and balanced rum that integrates the bourbon cask influence with the exceptional spirit characteristics. This nine-year-old Worthy Park is approachable enough for those new to rum with layers of complexity and depth that bely its young age for those who have had a chance to explore.

BP New Yarmouth 2009 NYE/HM 15yr 59.9% ABV
$205.00New Yarmouth distillery is located in Clarendon Parish and its spirit epitomizes the unique characteristics of Jamaican rums, in the same vein as Monymusk, Clarendon and Long Pond. The long fermentations, yeast selection and resulting esters create a fruity, bold and punchy spirit that is rich with flavour, although historically its stock has been used as a component in different blends. As a result, you can imagine how excited we were to come across this aged New Yarmouth.This 15-year-old New Yarmouth was distilled in 2009 and moved from Jamaica to Europe in 2012 to mature in a once used bourbon barrel. As soon as we received a sample of this delicious rum we jumped at the opportunity to bottle it.
