BP Old Rhosdhu 1994 (Refill HH) 30yr 46.7% ABV
$395.00
Old Rhosdhu is a name that is often overlooked when people discuss outstanding whiskies. We can’t really blame them though, since Loch Lomond doesn’t make it anymore! The first production of Old Rhosdhu began soon after the distillery’s opening in 1966 and the last production was around 2000. More commonly seen as a single malt from independent bottlers, we’re proud to join this elite club with what we believe is a spectacular bottling. The spirit has the typical fruity and floral characteristics that reflect the Loch Lomond production process.
Distilled in 1994, this whisky has been in the same refill bourbon hogshead for over 30 years. This is a whisky that has kept its spirit character over the past three decades, while patiently infusing lovely notes from the refill bourbon hogshead to complement it perfectly.
“Rh8” is our fourth limited edition release in the Chess series. This whisky, like the chess piece represented on its label, has patiently evolved over time. In ancient forms of chess the “rook” has been represented by a chariot, a turret or a ship. The ferocity, depth and stability of this piece is depicted in the “Black Rook”, another wonderful label by Toronto-based artist Alexander Perkins. We know this is going to be one people will search out and look back on fondly.
This single malt scotch whisky is non-chill filtered and naturally coloured, yielding 280 bottles at a cask strength of 46.7% ABV.

This nine-year-old Worthy Park is approachable enough for those new to rum with layers of complexity and depth that bely its young age for those who have had a chance to explore.

Linkwood Eminence 10 yr Single Malt Scotch Madeira Finish
$85.00The third in our Linkwood series, this EMINENCE edition was matured for 9+ yrs in a refill Oloroso sherry butt, then finished for 9 mo in a first fill Madeira cask, then bottled at cask strength. The Madeira maturation makes for a decadent dram redolent of stone fruit nectar, tropical syrup and floral oils.

Opulence Port Dundas 21 Oloroso Sherry Finish
$99.00Being the savages we are, we purchased a brand new Oloroso sherry quarter cask (those suckers are NOT cheap) and used it to age over half of the Port Dundas for the last 9 months. The smaller size of the quarter cask accelerates the aging process (higher ratio of wood surface area to total liquid volume), imparting an oakier backbone and the rich fig & pistachio flavors of a first fill Oloroso sherry cask. Its deep copper hue will satisfy “Dark AF” fetishists too (you know who you are) !
