BP Barbados 2001 Mount Gay 24yr 49.4% ABV
$265.00
Yes, we bottled another rum from Barbados. No, it is not a Foursquare. Surprise! This unnamed distillery situated in Saint Lucy parish (and visitors can start in Saint Michael parish), Barbados, remains a powerful presence in rum-making. A towering presence in the rum world with a distinct offering, we were very excited to bring this bottling to Bedford Park palates.
The rum was distilled in 2001 and aged at origin for five years before being shipped to the continent for maturation in a once used bourbon barrel.
The label by @kathlobo is for our new “Cuisine” series and showcases one of our favourite dishes to prepare together, dumplings. From preparation to indulgence, there’s something about getting together to create and share that combines our love of food, spirits and art and Kath has captured this perfectly.
This single barrel rum is non-chill filtered with no additives, yielding 256 bottles at a cask strength of 49.4% ABV.

Kyrië II – Netherlands Cane Juice Rum
$40.00KYRÏE II is from the same batch as the original Kyrïe, but with an additional 3 months of aging in a rum cask. Our original plan was for a longer aging but Kyrïe I was so popular & sold out so quickly we caved in and bottled the last of the Kyrïe that you’re holding in your hands! To be honest it’s not wildly different than the original Kyrïe, just a bit fuller and rounder in its mouthfeel. It’s still for fearless funky cane juice addicts only, Kyrië is searingly pungent with savory lemongrass notes & a graceful finish of confectioner’s sugar
