A collaboration with the UK Rum Club and Rum Club Canada is a landmark bottling we had this year. In our search for something unique and delicious, we stumbled upon this combination of Jamaican punch and Madeira flavours. One that will capture your attention immediately, this takes on a life of its own once you open the bottle, so be sure to have another glass once it’s had some air.
The label is the first in a series from James Tuer, guided by Steven James and Ivar de Laat who, along with rum wizard Ross Bradley, were able to create such a masterpiece on the outside and inside of the bottle.
This single barrel rum is non-chill filtered with no additives, yielding 305 bottles at a cask strength of 58.4% ABV.

We were surprised by the colour this developed in an ex-rum cask and, after a few years of patient observation, we knew it was the right time to bottle this stunning expression of Long Pond.

Its intensely floral nose immediately captivated us, followed by flavors of citrus zest, honey, fresh stone fruit and a toasty malty backbone.
The first in our series of Linkwood releases, this EMERGENCE edition was fully matured for 9 yrs in a refillĀ oloroso sherry butt and bottled at cask strength, resulting in a dram of velvety oily texture and powerful elegance.
