Perennia Caroni 27 yr Trinidad Rum – 375ml
$275.00
THE LEGEND: The king of lost rum distilleries, Trinidad’s Caroni Distillery quietly produced its last drops in 2002 before its tragic dismantling – only to rise again as most iconic cult rum of our time. Caroni was our gateway to the rum-verse and a royal pain to get in the US, so we’re ecstatic to present the first Caroni release by an American independent bottler.
THE RUM: While many “super heavy” Caronis have the notorious notes of burnt rubber, pungent diesel and old leather amped up to 11, we sought out a more elegant cask with notes of luscious fruits, dark caramel & fragrant tobacco to balance all its intrinsic industrial ferocity. We hope you’ll treasure the history and sensory journey of Perennia as much as we do!

Guardians (8 yr Trinidad Rum)
$45.00OUR TAKE: Guardians is the real sleeper in this lineup – Trinidad has produced some of the greatest rum in history (RIP, Caroni!) but also puts out a lot of so-so high volume juice so we didn’t enter the selection process assuming we’d come out with a “Trini”. And while the Foursquare and the Guyana were big, bold flashy candidates, this Trinidad kept popping up, refusing to be ignored (maybe because it’s over TWO THIRDS alcohol but drinks more like a 55 percenter). We succumbed to its fruity delights with absolutely zero regrets!
