THE LEGEND: Mount Pelée’s pyroclastic eruption in 1902 resulted in over 30,000 casualties … and 30,000 tiki cocktails!
THE RUM: This sequel to our original Grand Arôme Rum from Le Galion Distillery spent 10 mo. in a Barbados rum cask, adding additional dimensions of toffee and spice flavors to the base notes of wild tropical fruits, black olives, candied prunes and salted almonds. Grand Arôme’s long vinasse-powered fermentation creates prodigious amounts of ester flavor compounds that are NOT for the weak!
