  In early 2025, Rumcast co-hosts John Gulla and Will Hoekenga tasted their way through the warehouse at Liverpool’s legendary Main Rum Company with one goal: come back with special casks that were not only evocative of the rum’s origin, but also of Main Rum’s unique aging environment and cask management skills. This single cask is one of two selected for their inaugural releases, a 9-year-old molasses rum distilled at Guyana’s Diamond Distillery in the historic Versailles single wooden pot still.
