DISTRIBUTION OPTIONS
Soooo … how do we actually GET the bottles?
Raising Glasses offers several options (and we can mix and match options as well if you want to offer bottles through online, retail and/or personal delivery)
1 : Local Retail (through Lib Dib)
– Retail Store(s) required
– No Distributor required
– Retailer markup and state sales tax may apply
a) Find retail stores willing to purchase and stock your bottles in the following states where LIbDib is active:
Ready for Orders:
New York
Florida
Requires New Paperwork/Licensing:
California
Colorado
Connecticut
Illinois
Maryland
New Jersey
Wisconsin
b) We send the cases directly to the retail store
2 : Local Retail (through state distributor):
– Retail Store(s) required
– Distributor required
– distributor & retailer markup and state sales tax may apply
a) Find retail store(s) and a distributor willing to purchase and stock your bottles.
b) We send the cases to the distributor, who delivers to the retail store(s)
3 : Online Delivery To One Location (Big Thirst)
– No Retail Store(s) required
– No Distributor required
– Not available in AK, AL, HI, ID, MI, MS, OK, SC, UT, PA
– Shipping fee for entire order varies, approximately $140 per four cases.
a) Collect $$ for all bottles desired (minimum 48 375ml bottles or 24 700/750ml bottles) and pay Raising Glasses
b) Raising Glasses will deliver bottles to Big Thirst (online store) and place an order for all bottles to be delivered to one individual
c) Big Thirst delivers the bottles directly to the designated individual (Shipping fee for entire order varies, approximately $140 per four cases)
d) The designated individual distributes the bottles (through delivery or local pickup)
4 : Online Delivery To Each Consumer (Raising Glasses website/Big Thirst)
– No Retail Store(s) required
– No Distributor required
– Not available in AK, AL, HI, ID, MI, MS, OK, SC, UT (PA is questionable)
– $20 shipping fee per order
a) Each consumer places an advance order on the Raising Glasses website (minimum 48 375ml bottles or 24 700/750ml bottles)
b) Raising Glasses will deliver bottles to Big Thirst (online store)
c) Big Thirst delivers the bottles directly to the individual consumer (delivery is $20 flat fee per order)
5 : Massachusetts Pickup
– No Retail Store(s) required
– No Distributor required
– No delivery fee, No state sales tax
– Lowest cost (no LibDib or Big Thirst fees)
a) Each consumer places an advance order on the Burlington Wine & Spirits retail website (minimum total 48 375ml bottles or 24 700/750ml bottles)
b) One individual picks up all of the bottles from the retail store in Burlington MA (alternate option: Raising Glasses may be able to deliver in the New England area)
c) The designated individual distributes the bottles (through delivery or local pickup)
